Boscastle. Is one of the most picturesque harbour side villages in our locality. The village nestles in the two valleys, the Valency and the Jordan its 14th and 16th century cottages leading down to the harbour. The Elizabethan harbour wall and silhouetted weather hewn rock face of Queen Victoria attracts numerous visitors to the village every year. The harbour and part of the coastline is owned and managed by the National Trust. Boscastle has an interesting mixture of both old and new properties, some with views of the cliffs and sea. |

St. Teath. Is a picturesque inland village which has historical links to the Mutiny on the Bounty and is recorded as being the first village in Cornwall where a single wicket cricket championship was played in 1781. The village has a fine Inn (The White Hart) in its centre with two village stores, primary school and Garden Nursery. The village has wide variety of old and new properties yet retains much charm and character. |

Camelford. Once a thriving market town serving the outlying villages and lies between the coast and Bodmin Moor. Today, the town serves as the main hub for shops and business commerce for those villages attracted by its car park. The town has a primary school and large comprehensive school plus four new residential areas and several large national companies on the outskirts of the town. |

Delabole. Has the largest opencast slate quarry in the world, which has been extracting dark blue slate for years to make roofs, fireplaces, floors, walls etc. The village has grown up alongside the quarry which still operates today on a smaller scale, also the aesthetic appearance of the village has changed for the better over the past few years. There is a warm community spirit in Delabole which makes it a very popular place to live. Properties in the village consist of a mixture of old and new houses and bungalows. |

St. Breward. Known as the highest village in Cornwall, sits adjoining Bodmin Moor, which attracts numerous walkers and ramblers every year with its rugged scenery and alluring medieval settlements including the famous "King Arthurs Hall". The village has a substantial and well knit resident population which is served by a small selection of shops, primary school and doctors surgery also, there is a popular Inn and the village has a thriving Brass Band. Tintagel is a very popular village for the home owner as it offers a wide variety of shops catering for everyday needs including restaurants, hotels, public houses plus a doctors surgery and primary school.
